Hi, my name is Clementine. I’m 30 years old and live in New York City with my three cats – Romeo, Juliette, and Ophelia – and share a one-bedroom apartment with my boyfriend of 3 years. I’m a writer, blogger, and women’s activist featured on Bustle, The Huffington Post, Her Campus, Glamour UK, among others.

I have been through it all. The highs of love and lust, the lows of heartbreak, being single for a while. Through all this time, I learned that there are many ways to find happiness. There are so many things you can do with your life if you just put your mind to it!

I love working with other women to promote body positivity, self-love, and empowerment. My blog focuses on dating tips for women as well as relationship advice.

My goal is to help other people find happiness with their significant others by providing them with the most up-to-date information on love and romance.

As someone who has dealt with many relationship problems myself, I know all the right questions to ask yourself when you’re wondering if your partner is really “the one” or not. We often find that we are our own worst enemy when it comes to love because we sabotage ourselves by making judgments about what should be going on instead of listening to our intuition.

I believe in the simplest of pleasures – the power of worn denim, my sister’s famous chocolate-chip cookie recipe, and a fresh bouquet of hand-picked lilacs. I have been known to burn the chicken when hosting dinner. My library card is wrinkled and frayed. I paint outside the lines (and toenails).

I never underestimate the power of mismatched throw pillows. I value wisdom over smarts and authenticity over perfection. My thank you notes are handwritten (and OK, quite late). I am an expert napper. I hate the phone but love the conversation. I always pack a spare, usually in the wrong handbag. I am afraid of spiders, but not of hard work.

I believe that table crumbs are dinner’s confetti. I still on the hunt for my signature scent. A French manicure and the perfect pair of jeans are my must-have wardrobe staples. I like to keep it simple and dress up in a little black dress from time to time.

I am addicted to lip gloss but unashamed of braces at age 30. I know which wine goes with dinner but don’t care for beer or brie (too buttery).

I’m not sure when I’ll get around to writing my magnum opus… probably never. The world is an oyster, and one day we will all be caught up in something fabulous, have too many projects on our plates, and regret that we ever wasted precious minutes watching TV! We’re all busy bees buzzing by each other’s windows as if we have somewhere to be.

We’re all racing the clock, right? We need to make the most of every day because we only get one shot – or maybe two – at life. The point is that it’s not too late for you to do something special with yourself and those around you.

You can live your dream life, but first, you must believe in yourself enough that people will want to see how you’ve lived your best life after hearing about it. So share what you know, add a little “flavor,” and shake things up! And then actually start living! Grab your camera, write down your thoughts, value your experiences, trust your instincts, take risks, explore new things every day – they are just some of the ways you can dive into happy living and share it with others!
