Still clinging to your powdered blush? We get it. Cream blushes can look shockingly bright in the pan. But fear not--that bold color usually equates to a healthy flush. Skipping powder does wonders for that dewy complexion we always try for, and the versatility of a cream formula can’t be beat. You can apply with your fingers or with a brush. It seems to blend in more naturally with skin and can even double as a lip tint.

Not sure where to start? We’ve rounded up our tried and true favorites, plus a few new discoveries!

It Cosmetics.jpg

It’s the perfect shade of pink, and it even has silk in the formula. Need we say more? Indulge us, because this one is worth the raves. It also has antioxidants, collagen and peptides to help erase any imperfections while giving you that youthful glow. To buy: IT Cosmetics CC+ Vitality Brightening Crème Blush ($24)

A makeup artist taught us to use our index and middle fingers to tap crème blush onto our cheeks. That technique works really well with this cream-to-powder formula to infuse the color into our skin naturally with the warmth of our fingers. To buy: Clarin’s Blush Crème in Rose ($30)

Tata Harper.jpg

The ingredient list on this reads more like skincare than makeup, and it acts that way, too. It moisturizes, softens skin and helps plump up the appearance of any fine lines. Same goes for your lips! To buy: Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Cheek Tint ($36)

Hands down, this is the best value in cream blush. The color range in this line is excellent, but the real standouts here are the neutrals, like this "tea rose" tint. To buy: NYX Cream Blush in Tea Rose ($6)

There’s a lot of buzz around Korean beauty products as they make their way to the States. One of our fave K-beauty discoveries is by Chosungah 22. This tiny tube is filled with a concentrated cream blush that gives skin a surplus of radiance. The purple is stellar--seriously! To buy: So Tiny Lip & Cheek Face Color ($14)

This is more liquid in texture, so best to apply in layers and let it dry down in-between. It settles fairly sheer, so you can build up the color to your preference. We love how subtle this can be. To buy: Dior Lip and Cheek Glow ($37)

Passion fruit seed oil and vitamin E are a powerhouse duo in this creamy formula that weightlessly melts into skin. It leaves a slight stain to ensure a long-lasting wear. To buy: bareMinerals Pop of Passion ($22)

p.s. Try a facial oil to add even more dew to your skin!
