There’s a new trend taking off that may change how you wear your favorite perfume. You most likely spritz on your pulse points and even on your clothes, but how about on your hair? Turns out, the mane is a great medium for perfume. Not only does hair absorb scent more than skin, every time you move your head or fling your hair, fragrance wafts in the air around you.
Before you go dousing your locks with your favorite bottle of perfume, though, consider these tips. Traditional perfumes have alcohol and can be drying and damaging to hair. Spray the back of your neck versus your hair directly. Or, look for a formula designed with your mane in mind, like Oribe Cote d’ Azur and Serge Normant Avah Eau de Parfum, which both have conditioning properties. In that case, spray away!
