On the Menu: Sunbutter Soba Noodles

Simple soba noodles with a revolutionary twist. Try sunbutter instead of the beloved peanut butter and get ready for love at first taste.


Sunbutter sauce:
1/4 cup sunflower seed butter
2 tablespoons tamari
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons coconut milk/cream
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon white or brown rice vinegar
1 lime, juice and zest
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger
Sea salt to taste

10 oz. buckwheat soba noodles
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 sweet onion, roughly chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons tamari
2 cups broccoli, roughly chopped
3 tablespoons black sesame seeds
Sea salt to taste


Sunflower seed butter, 1 jar
Tamari, 1 bottle
Garlic, 2 cloves
Coconut milk, 1 can
Sesame oil
Brown rice or white vinegar
Lime, 1
Ginger, 2 inch piece
Soba noodles, 10 oz.
Sweet onion, 1
Broccoli, approx. 1/2 lb.
Black sesame seeds
Sea Salt
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Sriracha (optional)
