Because we Clementine girls like to stay on a budget, we're often turning to inexpensive jewelry to jazz up our everyday wear. But sometimes, our favorite baubles don't play nice and we're left sporting a green tinged ring finger after a few hours. What gives?

Although the cause is a chemical reaction between your skin and the metal, the solution is far from scientific. Simply brush your favorite bottle of clear nail polish (we love this budget buy!) directly onto the inside of the ring, being careful to coat all crevices that might come in contact with your skin. Let dry and make a note to reapply again in 3-6 months.

Done and done - green be gone! Genius, right? For more quick tips, here's how to look more awake in 30 seconds and how to freshen your carpet in 5 minutes! Now ladies, what are you going to do with all that spare time on your hands?
