We’ll be the first to admit: all of the time-consuming prepping and planning for special occasion get-togethers can leave us exhausted and frazzled before our guests even arrive.
This Mother’s Day, we’re sticking to our treasured low-key recipes. We’re serving a simple (and healthy) brunch with our tried-and-true morning sangria:
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 4-6)
1 bottle of Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc
1/4 cup superfine sugar
1 cup pear nectar
3 pears, thinly sliced
1 cup sparkling water (we used Peach-Pear La Croix)
In a large pitcher, combine the wine and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the pear nectar and pear slices.
Refrigerator pitcher and let the sangria sit for at least 2 hours and up to 6 hours.
Fill glasses with crushed ice and top with sparking water. Garnish with fresh mint.
Here's to shifting our energy to the moments that matter. Cheers, sweet Clementines!
