  1. Clear back in 1986 I insisted that my son give his “instructional speech” for speech class on “how to iron a shirt.” In those days of Generra and Gap 100% cotton shirts old Mom was worn out. Not only did he get an A for the speech, he got to iron his own shirts. A definite win/win for me!
